Student musicians raise money for school orchestra programs

It’s not often that one sees china, tablecloths and flower-filled vases gracing the tables of an elementary school cafeteria. And rarer, still, is it for students to choose their own menus.

Again this year, District 834 junior-high musicians have their audiences and directors shaking their heads: not in disappointment over missed notes or misbehavior, but with approval for yet another year of outstanding performances.
