Knowing a win would go a long way toward securing second place in the Suburban East Conference behind Mounds View (assuming the Mustangs don’t stumble), The Stillwater tennis team took care of business April 29 against visiting Cretin-Derham Hall.

Attempting to do exactly what the Stillwater baseball team couldn’t accomplish (beat an undefeated Mounds View team) on Thursday, the SAHS boys’ lacrosse team got the biggest win of its young history.

In the world of high school athletics, things can change quickly. One example would be the fact that the Stillwater Area High School boys’ lacrosse team was sitting pretty after defeating Mounds View 11-10 on a late goal from co-captain Levi Jensen last Thursday.
